Awards

 

 

1. Cathay Award

The Cathay Award is the highest honor established by the Chinese International Peptide Symposium and is sponsored by the Liu Huhan Education Foundation. The award recognizes scientists who have made outstanding research achievements in peptide science or significant contributions to the development of peptide science in China. Candidates are nominated by the Academic Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium and selected by vote of the Cathay Award Committee. For this symposium, two awardees will be selected: one Chinese scientist and one international scientist. Awardees are required to deliver a lecture at the symposium.

 

 

2. Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award

The Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award was established by the Chinese International Peptide Symposium in memory of Professor Xiaoyu Hu's important contributions to the development of peptide science in China. The award recognizes researchers who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the field of peptide science. Candidates are nominated by the Academic Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium and selected by vote of the Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award Committee. For this symposium, two awardees will be selected: one Chinese researcher and one international researcher. Awardees are required to deliver a lecture at the symposium.

 

 

3. Outstanding Peptide Contribution Award

The Outstanding Peptide Contribution Award recognizes researchers who have made exceptional contributions to the application of peptide science and the development of related industries. Candidates are nominated by the Academic Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium and selected by the Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award Committee. For this symposium, one awardee will be selected. The awardee is required to deliver a lecture at the symposium.

 

 

4. Peptide Technology Application Award

The Peptide Technology Application Award recognizes researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the application of peptide technologies. Candidates are nominated by the Academic Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium and selected by the Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award Committee. For this symposium, one awardee will be selected. The awardee is required to deliver a lecture at the symposium.

5. Young Peptide Scientist Award

The Young Peptide Scientist Award recognizes young researchers under the age of 40 who have achieved excellent research outcomes in the field of peptide science. For this symposium, five awardees will be selected. Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, the completed application form, and a recommendation letter from a member of the Academic Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium to the symposium email address at cps2026@cps2026-international.cn by May 31, 2026. Awardees will be selected by the Xiaoyu Hu Memorial Award Committee and are required to deliver a lecture at the symposium.

 

 

 

 

6. Outstanding Poster Award

The Outstanding Poster Award recognizes high-quality poster presentations and aims to encourage participants to showcase their research achievements and promote academic exchange and discussion. All participants who present posters at the symposium are eligible for this award. Candidates must complete their poster presentation and actively participate in on-site academic discussions. The Committee of the Chinese International Peptide Symposium will select 10 awardees from the registered poster presentations based on the quality of poster content, presentation effectiveness, and engagement in academic exchange.
